Freelancing platform
WEBIZ FREELANCING
Webiz is an outsourcing company that connects top talent with clients. Their goal was to digitize this process, creating a platform similar to Upwork, but focused on offering full-time positions instead of freelance gigs.
Context
At Webiz, I previously worked on various Israeli startup projects, but this time, I focused on the company’s internal system. It was the top priority, with the CEO actively involved in daily meetings. The system was intended for 500 employees, 50 clients, and around 100 internal staff (marketing, finance, HR), and these numbers were expected to grow significantly as digital transformation advanced.
My Role
I designed the interface, leveraging my experience with freelance platforms. With only two designers on the project, I often took initiative, creating features without the product owner. The challenge was meeting weekly deadlines, as delays would leave 50 developers without tasks. I also briefly managed a team of five designers.
3 Platforms in 1 project
We had 3 sides of the platform. Candidate portal, Company Portal, and Admin panel
User Testing
After we test our first version of recruiting platform, we recognized that
Some users did not know when the flow finished.
Some users got confused, they did not know what the next steps were
Some users had trouble understanding whether the data was saved or not
And most important: Onboarding was too long and complicated - 80% of users did not finished it
Solution:
We organized all the mandatory fields in a single Modal. This way we had all mandatory items in one place and could ensure that users completed their registration as quickly as possible and start participating in the matching system
How often are you using our Learning Platform?
If you ever late for a meeting, what is the main reason ?
Problem:
Upon launching the initial version of the dashboard, I discovered that users encountered difficulties in locating specific information or features. Consequently, I made the decision to incorporate an onboarding tour for employees during their first use of the dashboard
Solution:
We focused on enhancing the "New User Experience" by creating a product tour for first-time users, a help center, and additional support features.
Dashboards
Designing the dashboards was a challenge: we needed to display multiple charts simultaneously while ensuring the information remained easily scannable and user-friendly.

Webiz Landing
We also created a landing page. Management made a business desision to give designers the creative freedom.
